Dr. Yashi is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry and completed both a General Practice Residency and a Pediatric Dental Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with BronxCare Health System.
Dr. Yashi is committed to staying at the forefront of pediatric dentistry through continuing education and advanced training. She is dedicated to providing her young patients with comprehensive, compassionate care in a safe, comfortable, and child-friendly environment. Her philosophy emphasizes prevention, early diagnosis, and guiding children toward the highest level of oral health, function, and confident smiles.
She has a special interest in early oral development, tongue- and lip-tie evaluation and treatment, and airway-focused pediatric dentistry. By identifying concerns early, Dr. Yashi helps support proper oral growth, breathing, and overall development during a child’s most important formative years. Her approach focuses on treating the whole child—working closely with families and, when appropriate, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to promote long-term health and wellness.
Deeply committed to community engagement, Dr. Yashi regularly speaks at local schools and participates in community health fairs and outreach programs throughout the state to promote oral health awareness. She is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of dentists and currently serves as an attending with the pediatric dentistry residency program at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
Her dedication to pediatric dental care has earned her recognition as both an NJ Favorite Kid’s Doctor and a NJ Top Dentist since 2019.
Dr. Yashi maintains membership in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the Northeast Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Yashi lives in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, with her husband and three children. As a mother of three, she understands firsthand the joys and challenges parents experience when caring for their children’s health. This perspective allows her to connect with families on a deeper level and approach each child with patience, empathy, and understanding—helping create a positive and comfortable dental experience for both children and parents.
Outside the office, Dr. Yashi cherishes spending time with her family. She enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and experiencing different cultures. She also loves expressing her creative side through jewelry design, baking with her children, and planning memorable birthday parties and family celebrations.
